Charities Looking for Vehicle Donations
If you have an old car or vehicle that is in the way or not able to be repaired, consider giving it to a charitable organization that is looking for vehicle donations. Most charities will accept vehicle donations even if the car or truck is not in working order. Some will even accept old motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and boats. Working with a towing company the group will arrange for the vehicle to be picked up at your home or property free of charge. In exchange for a vehicle donation, a donor will receive documents for their records allowing them to take a deduction on their tax return. Many vehicle donations will also come with vouchers or coupons for discounted, and in some cases free, travel.
